Deep-sea exploration refers to the investigation and study of the ocean’s depths, typically at depths greater than 200 meters (656 feet). This field encompasses various scientific disciplines, including marine biology, geology, oceanography, and environmental science. Deep-sea exploration aims to understand the unique ecosystems, geological formations, and chemical processes that occur in these extreme environments, as well as to discover new species and resources.
